The SPARC Center is a student run food and clothing pantry that provides to those in need in Franklin Township and Beech Grove.
Information for Potential Clients:
● An application must be filled out and submitted before entrance into the pantry.
● You must have an Indiana license or state ID.
● SPARC is considered a school; therefore ID will be scanned by district software to ensure student safety.
● Number of items you can have are determined by the number of people in your immediate family.
● Items will be counted before leaving.
● If you feel your items have been counted incorrectly, tell an adult BEFORE you exit, no one will be readmitted.
● No public restrooms.
● No smoking on SPARC property.
● Profanity will not be tolerated.
How can I help?
● Donations: canned or dry food, infant food, paper products, infant through adult clothing, shoes and toys/books.
● Blue SPARC donations bins are located at each school.
● Donations can also be dropped off at SPARC during the hours of operation and by appointment.
How the pantry works:
● Every school in Franklin Township holds a food drive during different months of the school year to collect food for the pantry as well as donations from the community.
● SPARC members sort, stock, shelves and operate the pantry to work on independent living and vocational work skills.
● Potential pantry applicants must fill out an application to be approved to use the pantry.
● Indiana license or state ID must be shown to enter the pantry.
● The pantry consists of food as well as clothing for adults and children.
